About the Course
Over the day you will make a flatback A5 book with blank paper pages. You will fold signatures, hand sew a book block, add endpapers, reinforce the spine and “case-in”, or cover your book in the Quarter bound style.
All materials will be provided, including paper, board, various decorative papers, bookcloth, linen thread and adhesive to make your own uniquely designed book. Tools are provided for use on the day.
Classes are taught through demonstrations with plenty of hands on support. Class numbers are small to ensure everyone gets the help they need.
You’ll take away your unique handbound book, new skills, and the satisfaction gained from working creatively.
Tea & coffee will be available throughout the day, please bring a packed lunch.
Courses take place across Lincolnshire.
