Pottery Course

About the Course

During the course we teach a range of pottery skills using earthenware and stoneware clays. We encourage individual experimentation taking inspiration from your own ideas. Your pieces will be carefully transported to our studio for drying and firning in our electric kiln. You will then be able to use a selection of glazes to finish your pieces.

Topics Covered:
Pinch Pots
Tile Making
Slab Building
Decoration techniques

Fees include all materials, galzes & firings.

Courses take place across Lincolnshire. Tea & Coffee will be available during the sessions.

Please wear old clothes and closed footwear. An apron will be provided

Courses run for 8 weeks and are two and a half hours long. Minimum age 14 years (with adult supervision)

Jo is a qualified teacher using creativity to help children with additional needs and disabilities and has been involved in crafting since childhood and teaching it since 2011. Jo loves designing and creating with clay, leather and paper and loves to inspire others to keep traditional crafting alive.
